Learn how to use your hot-shoe mounted flash to produce flattering images, not 'snaps'.

We will show you how to you some of the more advanced features of your camera, and make the most of your flash to ensure that your images are always correctly exposed and lit in a flattering way.

There will be at least two practical photography sessions and during the day you will be able to review and discuss your photos as a group.

You'll learn how to:

use flash indoors and outdoors, as the main source of light and as fill-in flash

bounce flash in a variety of ways for softer, more flattering light

control the exposure of your subjects and their background

manage your subjects for the most natural images
